If you back onto it, yes. Creek setbacks are measured from the bank, and on the older lots the mapped line and the actual bank often differ. Fixing that line is survey work; we coordinate with the surveyor and draw to it.

Grading that respects the slope and height taken from natural grade. On the steeper lots above the Village the access grade is frequently the binding constraint. We capture the terrain first; soils and structural work come from the project engineer.

State law makes them possible on most residential lots and the city applies its own standards on top. The practical limits here tend to be site-driven: slope, creek setbacks and where the existing services run. We look at the specific lot rather than generalising.
