Samuel Harman

Samuel HarmanProject Manager

Samuel started Terra Drafting with the mission of making pre-construction and design more streamlined for industry professionals. He started his journey at a young age, apprenticing for his dad Michael, where he learned the ropes of residential design and permitting. Since these early days, he has gained valuable experience through roles in both design, hands-on construction work, project management, and degrees in both construction science and business administration.

In his role, Samuel works to build strong relationships with leading industry professionals. He is closely involved in client communication, schedule management, and the preparation of high accuracy deliverables. He takes pride in his work knowing he treats every project like it’s his own.

Michael Harman

Michael HarmanDesign Consultant

Michael started out his career in a time when drafting was done with only a feather and inkwell. He has worked in various roles throughout his industry across a wide array of projects (the pyramids, stonehenge, etc). Jokes aside, Michael has an extensive background in design, engineering, and permit expediting.

Michael serves in an oversight role at Terra, offering design support, review, and permit consulting. His 20+ years of experience submitting plans in SoCal comes with knowledge that is hard to find anywhere else. He offers excellent strategies to builders looking to pull their own permits, as well as on the ground expediting support.

Thomas

ThomasField Tech

Thomas has been learning the ropes of drafting and lidar scanning for over a year now. He was introduced to the industry while seeking a position that’s more interactive and hands-on than his previous roles. He is coming into the world of building and design from a tech services background, which translates perfectly to his tech-heavy role here.

At Terra, Thomas is the boots-on-the-ground technician for our lidar scans and drone photography in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties. He is the friendly face trying to figure out how to get a shot in between your wine fridge and your golf cart. He is amazingly efficient in the field and manages to be even more thorough than he is quick.

Dustin Inouye

Dustin InouyeField Tech

Dustin is jumping into his field role at Terra from a background in residential electrical work. His experience brings him confidence working on site, using technically complicated tools and software. His background also serves as a level-up for our electrical plans, harnessing his knowledge as a resource for our company’s collective growth.

Dustin is also quickly picking up on the other side of the world of construction. His years of contracting experience allows him for a different perspective than the rest of the team. He is often asking questions that lead to the improvement of our templates and deliverables. Dustin handles the site documentation for Ventura and Los Angeles counties, and will work closely with your pomeranian to ensure he gets every bit of data.
